Seminars Worldwide Lubrication Conference

A three day lubrication seminar taught by Lubrizol experts in lubrication, mechanical testing, research and applications. The seminar is held at Lubrizol's headquarters in Wickliffle, Ohio, USA.

Welcome to the Lubrizol Customer Conference Center’s Worldwide Lubrication Conference. This conference is offered for groups of up to 17 people and is led by highly skilled professionals from Lubrizol research, mechanical testing, marketing and sales. The conference is supplemented with videos, hands-on demonstrations of chemical properties and mechanical parts, working models of common types of equipment and tours of Lubrizol's lubricant testing and blending facilities. In addition each participant will receive a paper copy and CD of all presentation materials and a set of Lubrizol Ready Reference books.

Curriculum & Topics

Lubricant Fundamentals: Additive chemistry, base oils and viscosity modifiers
Grease: Basics of grease including performance, types, applications and applications.
Engine Oils: Heavy duty diesel and passenger car motor oils – trends and specifications.
Hydraulic Fluids: A hands on demonstration of hydraulic fundamentals as well as industrial gear oils and hydraulic fluids.
Driveline Oils: Automatic transmission fundamentals and fluids and automotive gear oils.

Lubricant Blending, Quality Assurance and Chemical testing

Conferees in attendance for the entire program and who complete the assessment sheet at the end of the program, will be given a diploma and awarded CEUs (Continuing Education Units).
